All children and young people who participate in programs at Newidafe including Indigenous children, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with disability have a right to feel and be safe.

We have a zero tolerance to child abuse and other harm.

Our staff understand their role in keeping children safe and are committed to providing a child-safe and child-friendly environment, where children and young people are safe and feel safe.

Our programs are designed for children with a disability that will always place your child and their safety first.

We are a NDIS Registered and Certified Provider – independently audited against the NDIS Practice Standards.

All staff working with children have the relevant screening checks (i.e., working with children check, NDIS worker screening) and have obtained their first aid certificate. These staff also complete further training in child related legislative and reporting responsibilities.
